The change begins with you

2chronicles 7:14 from The message version.

“And my people, my God-defined people, respond by humbling themselves, praying, seeking my presence and turning their backs on the wicked lives, I’ll be there ready for you,I’ll listen from heaven, forgive their sins and restore their land to health”

Dear God,

Thank you for your grace upon this land Nigeria, it would be unfair for us to keep complaining without acknowledging all the good you have done for us. Thank you for your promises to us .Your word says if we lack wisdom we should ask from you

We don’t know how to pray and you have pointed out three major areas we need to work on in other to teach us:

A) “And my people, my God-defined people”

Are we really for God? Have we really surrendered ourselves to be led by God as his own? To be able to access this grace and restoration, we must be called by God’s name. If you haven’t given your life to him, now would be a good time(just bow your head and talk to him)

B) “Respond by humbling themselves, praying and seeking my presence”

The importance of humility cannot be overemphasized, it is a requirement for praying and seeking the face of God.

C) “Turn from their wicked ways”

Many may think this phrase describes our leaders perfectly but we also have played individual roles in being wicked by not showing love to people in need around us, cheating others in the seemingly little ways and the list could go on and on.

When these criterias have been met, we can get the answers we have been crying to God for as a Nation. For the movie lovers,I got the inspiration to write this letter from WAR ROOM, so you can check it out…

Thank you for reading, THE CHANGE BEGINS WITH YOU!
