When I first started working out *flexing my muscles* I’d feel the burn in every part of my body, it was a bitter sweet pain that produced changes in my body. Overtime I continued with the same routines, obviously I had grown used to them such that they didn’t cause any burn, infact it was more like stretches and no more changes were noticed. I knew that I wasn’t doing anything and so a few days ago, I took the next step , I left my comfort zone and added a few more routines with increased duration amd intensity of the previous routines, let’s not talk about the burning pain I still feel right now.
I’m not a fitness coach and so you’d be wondering what this is about , I recently realised through these events that if you’re going to do something, it’s not enough that you do it but you need to ask yourself if you’re doing it well enough to get the desired results.
It’s even recorded in the Bible that we should give our all to what our hands find to do.
Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters
Often times, we expect results and when we don’t get them, we begin to wonder what is working against us, it might just be that you need to put a little more work, a little more research, a little push here and there and you would notice changes in no time.
